Configuring a Packet Load Balancing Mode

You can configure a load balancing mode for packets carrying MPLS labels on a P.

Context

The router supports either of the following packet load balancing modes:
  • Per-packet load balancing: evenly balances packets, regardless of packet sequences.
  • Per-destination load balancing: balances packets and forwards them in correct sequence.

Procedure

  1. Run:

    system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:

    load-balance { flow | packet } [ slot slot-id | all ]

    A load balancing mode is specified.

  3. Run:

    commit

    The configuration is committed.
