Procedure

  1. Power off the G560 V5. For details, see Powering Off the Compute Node.
  2. Remove the G560 V5. For details, see Removing the G560 V5.
  3. Place the G560 V5 on the ESD floor.
  4. Remove the cover. For details, see Removing the Cover of the G560 V5.
  5. Determine the location of the TPM to be removed. See Figure 5-86.

  6. Loosen the screw of the TPM using a Phillips screwdriver. See (1) in Figure 5-87.

  7. Remove the TPM from the mainboard. See (2) in Figure 5-87.
  8. Place the removed TPM in an ESD bag.
