Function

The service -d state command is used to set service state for the iBMC.

Format

ipmcset -t service -d state -v <option> <enabled | disabled>

Usage Guidelines

  • The value of option is not case-sensitive.

  • Only G530 V5 and G560 V5 nodes support the VNC service.

Example

# Enable the HTTP service.

iBMC:/->ipmcset -t service -d state -v http enabled
Set http service state(enabled) successfully.
NOTE:

Enabling the HTTP service may pose security risks.
