  10. Select an upgrade mode. The following uses Auto as an example. You can select an upgrade mode as required. The upgrade modes are described as follows:

Auto: If the current version of OS, APP, or Data is different from the target version, upgrade OS, APP, or Data of Smart Provisioning to the target version. The default mode is Auto.

Full: Upgrade all OS, APP, and Data of Smart Provisioning to the target versions.

Recover: Format the partition where Smart Provisioning is located, and then upgrade all OS, APP, and Data to the target versions.

APP: Upgrade the Smart Provisioning applications to the target version.

Data: Upgrade the Smart Provisioning data to the target version.

  11. Click Next.

The Upgrade Result window is displayed.

    NOTE:

During the Smart Provisioning upgrade process, operations such as resetting the BMC, restarting the server, or disconnecting the Smart Provisioning image will damage Smart Provisioning. After Smart Provisioning is damaged, you need to use uREST or mount the Smart Provisioning image to upgrade Smart Provisioning in Recover mode. For details about how to use uREST, see the uREST tool V2R2 User Guide.

  12. View the Smart Provisioning upgrade status. If information similar to that shown in Figure 10-164 is displayed, the upgrade is successful.
