Description

ISIS-STD/2/LSP_ERROR:OID [oid] IS-IS received an LSP with a parse error. (NotificationSysLevelIndex=[integer], LspID=[opaque], CircuitIfIndex=[integer], PduFragment=[opaque], ErrorOffset=[integer], ErrorTLVType=[integer])

An LSP with a parse error was received.

Parameters

Name Meaning

oid

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

NotificationSysLevelIndex

IS-IS level of a device that sends the trap

LspID

LSP ID

CircuitIfIndex

Interface index

PduFragment

64-byte PDU header

ErrorOffset

Offset of an error TLV

ErrorTLVType

Error TLV type

Impact on the System

The TLV cannot be parsed, and therefore information may be lost.

Possible Causes

An error occurred when a received LSP was parsed.

Procedure

  1. Search the trap information for the error TLV and the offset of the error TLV for fault location.
  2. Use a packet obtain tool to obtain packet headers sent by the remote device, check whether the fault occurs, and determine whether the local device incorrectly parses the packet or the remote device sends an incorrect packet.

    • If the remote device sends an incorrect packet, go to Step 4.
    • The local device incorrect parses the packet, go to Step 3.

  3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
