Description

POE/4/PSEPOWERCUT: OID [oid] PSE power is not enough to power on all the PD.Some low priority PD may power off.

The maximum output power of the PoE power supply is lower than the total power required by all the PDs connected to the PSE. As a result, the PSE may fail to supply power to some low-priority PDs.

Possible Causes

The maximum output power of the PoE power supply is insufficient.

Procedure

  1. Run the display poe-power command to check the maximum PoE power.

    • If the maximum PoE power is smaller than the total power required by the PDs but cannot be increased, run the poe priority { critical | high | low } command to set power supply priorities for PDs. Then low-priority PDs are powered off and power supply of high-priority PDs is ensured.
