In Which Situation Do EF Queues Preempt the Idle Bandwidth?
When traffic is not congested on a device interface and AF or BE queues have idle bandwidth, EF queues can preempt the idle bandwidth.
When the SRU80, SRU200, SRU200E, or SRU400 is used, Ethernet interfaces and POS interfaces do not support idle bandwidth preempted by EF queues.
If an EF queue is configured in a traffic behavior of a parent traffic policy, the EF queue does not preempt the idle bandwidth.
