Disabling a MEP from Reporting RDI Alarms

When an NMS manages many MEPs on a network, it may receive a large number of RDI alarms. To reduce such alarms, you can disable the MEPs from reporting alarms to the NMS. This reduces the load of the NMS and local device.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run cfm md md-name

    The MD view is displayed.

  3. Run ma ma-name

    The MA view is displayed.

  4. Run mep mep-id mep-id alarm rdi disable

    A MEP is disabled from reporting RDI alarms.
