Shutting Down an Interface Monitoring Group

Shutting Down an Interface Monitoring Group

Context

If a large number of network-side interfaces need to be added to or removed from an interface monitoring group, shut down the interface monitoring group to prevent track interface flapping.

When a large number of network-side interfaces need to be added to or deleted from an interface monitoring group, the corresponding trace interface may alternate between Up and Down due to frequent weight changes. To address the problem, shut down the interface monitoring group until the network-side interfaces are added to or removed from the interface monitoring group.

Procedure

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the monitor-group monitor-group-name command to enter the view of a specified interface monitoring group.
  3. Run the undo monitor enable command to shut down the interface monitoring group.
