Licensing Requirements

IPSG is a basic feature of a router device and is not under license control.

Feature Limitations

When deploying IPSG on the router, pay attention to the following:
  • 4GE-2S, 4ES2G-S,4ES2GP-S and 9ES2 cards do not support IPSG.

  • AR100&AR120&AR150&AR160&AR200&AR1200&AR2200&AR3200&AR3600 series support only Layer 3 traffic monitoring.


The IPSG static and dynamic binding entries share a limited number of resources. The total number of entries supported by different models is as follows:

  • AR100&AR120&AR150&AR160&AR200 series: 128
  • AR1200 series: 256
  • AR2200 series: 1024 (AR2201-48FE, AR2202-48FE: 256)
  • AR3200&AR3600 series: 1024
