Applying an Attack Defense Policy

Applying an Attack Defense Policy

After an attack defense policy is created, you must apply the attack defense policy to the SRU or all LAN-side interface cards in the system view, or specified LAN-side interface cards. Otherwise, the attack defense policy does not take effect.

If the attack defense policy is applied to a LAN-side interface card or SRU, the policy takes effect for only the packets sent to the CPU of the LAN-side interface card or SRU.

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run cpu-defend-policy policy-name [ global | slot slot-id ]

The attack defense policy is applied.
