How Do I Configure CPCAR?

Perform the following operations to configure Control Plane Committed Access Rate (CPCAR):
  • Run the cpu-defend policy policy-name command to create an attack defense policy.
  • Run the packet-type packet-type rate-limit rate-value command to set the rate limit for packets sent to the CPU.
  • Run the cpu-defend-policy policy-name [ global | slot slot-id ] command to apply the attack defense policy.
