Configuring the Device to Record and Report Events

Context

By default, the device records and reports all events. If only specified events need to be noticed, you can configure other events as invalid and configure the device not to report the events.

Procedure

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the ami command to enter the AMI view.
  3. Run the event event-id valid valid [ level level ] command to configure the device to record and report events.

Verifying the Configuration

Run the display ami event { event-type | all } [ number ] command to check event records.
