Configuring Basic Parameters for Communication Between the Device and Front-End Processor


You can configure the basic parameters reported by the device to the front-end processor for registration.


  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the ami command to enter the AMI view.
  3. Run the basic heart-interval interval-value command to set the heartbeat interval.

    By default, the heartbeat interval is 5 minutes.

  4. Run the basic report-retry retry-num command to set the maximum number of retries when the device reports heartbeat packets to register with a front-end processor.

    By default, the maximum number of report retries is 3.
