Maintaining AMI

AMI maintenance includes query of events and statistics on PLC received and sent packets.


You can view the communication module statistics and numbers of received and sent packets to check whether packets are lost between the device and meters. If so, upgrade the communication module.

You can view events to detect AMI faults and exceptions in a timely manner.


  • Run the following commands to maintain AMI.

    Operation View Command
    Check the numbers of received and sent packets on the remote intelligent meter. Any view display channel-type hi-plc txrx-count remote mac-address
    Check the numbers of received and sent packets on the PLC channel. Any view display channel-type hi-plc txrx-count local
    Configure whether events are reported and whether the events are important. AMI view event event-id valid valid [ level level ]
    Check event information. Any view display ami event { event-type | all } [ number ]
