Possible Cause Troubleshooting Roadmap Solution
The DHCP client does not obtain the egress gateway address. The DHCP client can obtain an IP address through the DHCP relay agent, but cannot access the Internet or ping the DHCP server. The phenomenon indicates that the DHCP relay agent and DHCP server work properly. The possible cause is that the DHCP client does not obtain the egress gateway address. Run the display ip pool command to check whether the egress gateway address for DHCP clients is configured in the address pool. If the Gateway-0 field in the command output displays -, the egress gateway address for DHCP clients is not configured in the address pool.

Run the gateway-list ip-address &<1-8> command in the global address pool view of the DHCP server to configure the egress gateway address for DHCP clients.
