Other network elements are not required.

Licensing Requirements

IPSG is a basic feature of a router device and is not under license control.

Feature Limitations

When deploying IPSG on the router, pay attention to the following:
  • 8ES2G, 8ES2GS cards do not support IPSG.

  • Among the AR500 series routers, AR502EGRb-L, AR502EGRc-Lc, AR502EG-La, AR502EG-Lj, AR502EG-L-PD, AR502EG-L, AR502EGW-L, AR502EGRz-L, AR502EGRz-Lc, AR502CG-L, AR509CG-Lc, AR509CG-Lt, AR509CG-Lt-7, AR509CGW-L do not support IPSG.

  • AR510 series (except AR515GW-LM9-D, AR515CGW-L) do not support IPSG.

  • AR530 series do not support IPSG.

  • AR500 series support only Layer 3 traffic monitoring.
