This alarm is generated when the system detects that the sub compute node is not in position or is faulty.

This alarm is generated by the following sensor: TWIN Status

Possible Causes

  • The sub compute node is not installed.
  • The sub compute node is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether all the sub compute nodes are installed.

    • If yes, go to 3.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Install all sub compute nodes. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Restart the iMana 200. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If yes, go to 4.
    You can restart the iMana 200 using either of the following methods:
    • On the HMM CLI, run the telnet 0 1101 command, switch to the iMana 200 CLI, and run the ipmcset -d reset command.
    • On the HMM WebUI, choose Chassis settings > Network Settings > Node, switch to the iMana 200 WebUI, choose System > Firmware Upgrade, and click Restart iMana 200

  4. Replace the sub compute node. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If yes, go to 5.

  5. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  6. Contact Huawei technical support.
