Transition to M7

This alarm is generated when the hot swap status of the compute node or switch module transits to M7 and the communication is disconnected.

This alarm is generated by the following sensor: FRU Hot Swap

Impact on the System

The data transmission between the blade and the MM910 is affected.

Possible Causes

  • The chassis is faulty.
  • The blade is busy. For example, firmware is being upgraded.
  • The blade is removed incorrectly.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the blade is being upgraded.

    • If yes, go to 2.
    • If no, go to 3.

  2. After the upgrade is complete, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Reseat the blade and then check whether the alarm is cleared..

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  5. Contact Huawei technical support.
