This alarm is generated when the system detects that the allocated power is insufficient to support the running of the device.

Impact on the System

The functions of components are affected.

Possible Causes

  • The PSUs are not fully configured.
  • The chassis backplane is faulty.


  1. Check whether the PSUs meet power requirement of the entire chassis.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 2.

  2. Check whether the PSUs are fully configured.

    • If yes, go to 4.
    • If no, go to 3.

  3. Install more PSUs. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to 4.

  4. On the HMM WebUI, choose System Management > Information Collection, and collect logs.
  5. Contact Huawei technical support.
