Network Plan

Before installing FusionCube software, confirm the following information with the customer:

  • Node type: Management node, database node, and storage node.
  • Management IP address: IP address allocated to the ebond0 port of a node. A management IP address and BMC IP address can be on the same network segment.
  • BMC IP address: BMC IP address of each server blade.
  • Storage IP address: IP address of the high-speed IB network plane. The default network segment 172.21.50.x is recommended. For database nodes, the storage IP plane forwards data and provides the heartbeat and communication plane for the RAC nodes.
