ASM Disk Display Failure

Information about the configured ASM disks cannot be obtained.

The possible causes and solutions are described as follows:

  • Incorrect disk discovery path

    Check whether the value of Disk Discovery Path is correct. Click the Change Discovery Path button and change the path to the configured ASM disk path.

  • ASM disk udev binding error

    Analyze the udev configuration and view the corresponding ASM disk directory to check whether ASM disks are created successfully. If ASM disks are not created successfully, run the following commands:

    [root@dbn01 u01]# /sbin/udevadm control --reload-rules
    [root@dbn01 u01]# /sbin/udevadm trigger --type=devices --action=change
