Powering Off

You need to power off the chassis before replacing a part due to a chassis or part fault or inspecting the chassis or parts.


  1. Ensure that all services and programs on the server are stopped or have been switched over to other devices.
  2. Power off the server nodes. For details, see the power-off sections of XH628 V5 Server Node V100R005 User Guide.
  3. Disconnect the chassis power cable from the external power supply to power off the chassis.
