Spare parts are divided into two classes, which are indicated as follows in this document:
- Recommended spare parts (labeled R): Inventory is maintained for spare parts in this class. If a device that has recommended spare parts is faulty, replace the faulty parts onsite and send them to Huawei.
- Available spare parts (labeled A): Inventory is not maintained for spare parts in this class. Available spare parts can be purchased when required, but the lead time is long.
