Configuring N-to-N Multicast VLAN Replication Based on User VLANs


N-to-N multicast VLAN replication enables you to bind a user VLAN to multiple multicast VLANs. N-to-N multicast VLAN replication supplements traditional 1-to-N multicast VLAN replication in which a user VLAN can only be bound to one multicast VLAN.

Configuration Procedure


Currently, the switch supports N-to-N multicast replication on IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The configuration on IPv6 networks is the same as that on IPv4 networks, except that you must enable Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping on an IPv4 network and Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) snooping on an IPv6 network. The configuration process for an IPv4 network is used as an example.
