As shown in Figure 3-18, the Enhanced Trunk (E-Trunk) protects the links between CE1 and two PEs (PE1 and PE2) on the network. CE1 is connected to PE1 and PE2 using two Eth-Trunks in LACP mode. The two Eth-Trunks form an E-Trunk to implement backup and enhance the network reliability.
