Why MPUs Cannot Register After a CSS Is Set Up?

Why MPUs Cannot Register After a CSS Is Set Up?

One possible cause is that CSS connections are incorrect.

If LE0D0VSTSA00 or LE2D2VS08000 CSS cards are used to set up a CSS, CSS connections must follow connection rules described in Switch Cluster Setup Guide. All ports on the LE0D0VSTSA00 CSS cards must be connected. Using LE2D2VS08000 CSS cards requires that ports in each of two port groups on one CSS card of the local switch be connected to ports in one port group on two CSS cards of the peer device. If ports on the CSS card of one MPU are not connected, this MPU cannot register and will reset frequently. To prevent CSS faults, ensure that CSS connections follow the preceding connection rules.
