Setting Up an SVF System (The Parent Is Connected to ASs Through a Layer 2 Network)


In Figure 4-8, when ASs connect to an SVF system through a Layer 2 network, only level-1 ASs are supported and APs can connect to ASs.

The fabric-port that connects the parent to an AS through a Layer 2 network is called an indirectly connected fabric port. Indirectly connected fabric ports on the parent and fabric ports that connect ASs to an SVF system need to be manually configured.
