Collecting VLAN Traffic Statistics

Collecting VLAN Traffic Statistics

You can enable traffic statistics collection on a VLAN or on a VLANIF interface to monitor VLAN traffic.

  • Check VLAN traffic statistics.
    1. (Optional) Run the vlan statistics interval command in the system view to set the VLAN traffic statistics collection interval.
    2. Run the statistic enable command in the VLAN view to enable VLAN traffic statistics collection.

The LE1D2S04SEC0, LE1D2X32SEC0, and LE1D2H02QEC0 cards, and X series cards do not collect statistics on packets sent to the CPU in a VLAN.

    3. Run the display vlan vlan-id statistics [ slot slot-id ] command in any view to check traffic statistics about a specified VLAN.
  • Check traffic statistics about a VLANIF interface.
    1. Run the statistic enable command in the VLANIF interface view to enable traffic statistics collection.
    2. Run the display interface vlanif [ vlan-id ] command in any view to check traffic statistics about a VLANIF interface.
