Creating a LAG
Context
Each LAG has one logical interface, that is, an Eth-Trunk. Before configuring link aggregation, create an Eth-Trunk.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run interface eth-trunk trunk-id
An Eth-Trunk is created and the Eth-Trunk interface view is displayed.
If the specified Eth-Trunk already exists, this command directly displays the Eth-Trunk interface view.
trunk-id defines the Eth-Trunk ID. The following is the value range of trunk-id for different models:- S1720GFR-TP, S2750EI, S5700LI, S5700S-LI, and S5710-X-LI: 0-63
- S1720GF, S1720GFR-P, S1720GW, S1720GWR, S1720GW-E, S1720GWR-E, S2720EI, S5720I-SI, S5720SI, S5720LI, S5720S-LI, and S5720S-SI: 0-119
- S5720EI, S5720HI, S5730HI, S6720EI, S6720HI, and S6720S-EI: 0-127
- S1720X, S1720X-E, S5730SI, S5730S-EI, S6720SI, S6720S-SI, S6720LI, and S6720S-LI: 0-249
On the S6720EI, and S6720S-EI, you can run the assign trunk command to set the value, and run the display trunk configuration command to check the configuration.
