How Can I Enable a VLAN Stacking Interface to Transparently Transmit Packets with VLAN IDs out of the C-VLAN List Configured for VLAN Stacking?

After configuring VLAN Stacking on an interface of an S3700EI, S3700SI or S5700EI switch, enable the interface to transparently transmit packets with VLAN IDs out of the C-VLAN list by configuring VLAN mapping entries in which the original and translated VLAN IDs are the same. If you do not perform this configuration, VLAN IDs of such packets are replaced by the PVID of the interface.

For example, if VLAN 10 is not in the C-VLAN list configured for VLAN Stacking, perform the following configuration to enable the interface to transparently transmit packets of VLAN 10:

<HUAWEI> system-view
[HUAWEI] interface gigabitethernet 0/0/1
[HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] port vlan-mapping vlan 10 map-vlan 10

On other switch models, such packets can be transparently transmitted without the need to perform the preceding configuration.
