Configuration
This section describes how to configure a SmartTier policy for a file system in a vStore scenario.
Context
- The storage pool must contain both SSDs and HDDs.
- If a storage system has been upgraded from V500R007C10 or an earlier version, any file systems created before the upgrade will not support SmartTier.
- If the secondary file system in a HyperMetro pair does not support SmartTier, the primary file system must not be configured with SmartTier.
