Creating a LAG

Creating a LAG

Context

Each LAG has one logical interface, that is, an Eth-Trunk. Before configuring link aggregation, create an Eth-Trunk.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface eth-trunk trunk-id

An Eth-Trunk is created and the Eth-Trunk interface view is displayed.

If the specified Eth-Trunk already exists, this command directly displays the Eth-Trunk interface view.

trunk-id defines the Eth-Trunk ID. The value of trunk-id is in the range 0 to 127.

If the device is equipped with cards specified in the assign trunk command, you can run the assign trunk command to set the value, and run the display trunk configuration command to view the configuration.
