Enable DHCPv6

Enable DHCPv6

The DUID identifies a DHCPv6 device. Each DHCPv6 server or client has a unique DUID. DHCPv6 servers use DUIDs to identify DHCPv6 clients and DHCPv6 clients use DUIDs to identify DHCPv6 servers. The DUID is optional for DHCPv6 relay agents.

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run dhcpv6 enable

  3. (Optional) Run dhcpv6 duid { duid-value | ll | llt }

    A DUID is configured for the device.

    By default, the device generates a DUID based on the link-layer (LL) address.

  4. Run commit
