STACKMNG/4/hwFabricLinkLimitAlarm_active: The number of current fabric links is smaller than the number of fabric links configured. (hwStackFabricPort=[hwStackFabricPort], hwFabricCurrentLinkNum=[hwFabricCurrentLinkNum], hwFabricConfiguredLinkNum=[hwFabricConfiguredLinkNum])


The number of available fabric port links is smaller than the configured alarm threshold.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning


Indicates the fabric port number.


Indicates the number of current links.


Indicates the configured alarm threshold.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The networking is improper or the configured alarm threshold for the number of available fabric port links is high.

Cause 2: The protocol state of the port is Down.

Cause 3: The fabric port link is faulty.


  1. Run the display stack link-state last-down-reason command to check whether a fabric port link is Down.

    • If a fabric port link is Down, rectify the fault according to the reason.
    • If all fabric port links are Up, go to step 2.

  2. Increase the number of fabric port links or run the fabric min-links threshold alarm-threshold command to reduce the alarm threshold for the number of available fabric port links.
