DEVM/2/hwPowerInvalid_active
Message
DEVM/2/hwPowerInvalid_active: A power module experienced a complete failure.(EntPhysicalIndex=[EntPhysicalIndex], EntPhysicalName=[EntPhysicalName], EntityTrapFaultID=[EntityTrapFaultID], Reason=[Reason])
Possible Causes
Cause 1 (EntityTrapFaultID=[136961]): The power module supply failed.
Cause 2 (EntityTrapFaultID=[136967]): The output of the power module failed.
Cause 3 (EntityTrapFaultID=[136448]): The power was not present.
Cause 3 (EntityTrapFaultID=[136981]): The actual power exceeded the rated power.
Procedure
- Cause 1: The power module supply
failed.
- Check whether the fan of the power module cannot work because the air filter is clogged. If so, clean the air filter.
- Check whether the ambient temperature is within the allowed range. If the temperature is too high, improve heat dissipation.
- Check whether the power supply is normal. If not, repair the external power supply circuit.
- If the fault persists, replace the power module.
- Cause 2: The output of the
power module failed.
- Check whether the external power supply is proper. If not, repair the external circuit.
- If the fault persists, replace the power module.
- Cause 3: The power was not
present.
- Check whether the power module is properly installed. If not, remove and then reinstall the power module properly.
- Cause 4: The actual power exceeded the rated power.
- Check whether the power module is a standard power module. If not, replace the power module. If the power module is a standard one, contact technical support personnel.
