Description

The Fabric ports in the SVF are incorrectly connected.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

hwStackFabricPort

Indicates the Fabric port.

hwStackFabricMemberPort

Indicates the member port of the Fabric port.

hwStackPeerPort

Indicates the peer port.

Reason

Indicates the alarm cause.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: One Fabric port is connected to more than one leaf switch.

Cause 2: The Fabric ports on the spine switch are connected to each other.

Cause 3: One leaf switch is connected to more than one Fabric port.

Cause 4: The member port of a Fabric port is connected to an isolated port.

Cause 5: The member port of a Fabric port is connected to the member port of a stack port.

Cause 6: A leaf switch is connected to multiple stack systems.

Procedure

  1. Run the display interface brief command to view the member ports of the Fabric port and check whether the member ports are connected.

    • If so, disconnect the ports.
    • If not, go to step 2.

  2. Check whether one Fabric port is connected to only one leaf switch and whether the leaf switch is only connected to this Fabric port.

    • If so, go to step 3.
    • If not, modify the connections based on rules.

  3. Collect traps, logs, and configurations, and contact technical support personnel.
