Description

The number of VN_Ports in the same NPV instance exceeds the number of system MAC addresses.

Index of the FCoE interface.

sysMacNum

Number of system MAC addresses.

vnPortNum

Number of VN_Ports.

Possible Causes

If the number of VN_Ports in the same NPV instance exceeds the number of system MAC addresses, MAC address conflicts may occur. If the conflicting ports belong to the same VLAN, services will be affected.

Procedure

  • Stop creating VN_Ports in the same NPV instance.
  • Run the undo fcoe role vn-port interface fcoe-port fcoe-port-id command to delete unnecessary VN_Ports.
