Indicates the name of the stack member port.

Possible Causes

The connection of the stack member port is incorrect or stack protocol packets are received or sent incorrectly.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the connection of the stack member port is correct. If not, correct it.
  2. Run the display interface interface-type interface-number command to check whether error packet statistics exist on the port. If so, check whether the optical modules of the two ends are properly inserted or have any fault.
  3. Run the display stack statistics command in the diagnostic view more than once to check whether the statistics about stack protocol packets sent or received are correct. If not, check the stack configuration or connections.
  4. Collect the trap, log, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
