STACKMNG/4/hwStackLinkLimitAlarm_active
Message
STACKMNG/4/hwStackLinkLimitAlarm_active: The number of STACK links has reached the alarm threshold. (hwStackLocalIfName=[hwStackLocalIfName], hwStackCurrentLinkNum=[hwStackCurrentLinkNum], hwStackLinkAlarmThreshold=[hwStackLinkAlarmThreshold])
Parameters
Parameter Name | Parameter Meaning |
---|---|
hwStackLocalIfName | Specifies the name of a stack port. |
hwStackCurrentLinkNum |
Specifies the number of available physical member ports in a stack port. |
hwStackLinkAlarmThreshold |
Specifies the alarm threshold for the number of stack links. |
Possible Causes
Some stack links become faulty, causing the number of available stack links to be smaller than the alarm threshold.
Procedure
- Run the display interface brief command to check information
and status of physical member ports in a stack port.
- If some physical member ports are Down, check whether their cables are loose.
- If all physical member ports are Up, go to step 2.
- Increase the number of physical member ports in the stack port or run the stack port-link threshold command to set the alarm threshold of stack links to a smaller value.
- Collect trap messages, log messages, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
