Description

The device recorded the time when the last Hello packet was sent to and received from an OSPFv3 neighbor before the neighbor went Down.

Possible Causes

The time when the last Hello packet was sent to and received from an OSPFv3 neighbor was recorded, and then the neighbor went Down.

Procedure

  1. Run the display ospfv3 interface command to check whether the protocol status of the OSPFv3 interface is Up.

    • If the OSPFv3 interface is Up, go to Step 5.
    • If the OSPFv3 interface is not Up, go to Step 2.

  2. Run the display ip interface command to check whether the physical status of the OSPFv3 interface is Up.

    • If the OSPFv3 interface is Up, go to Step 3.
    • If the OSPFv3 interface is not Up, go to Step 5.

  3. Check whether the neighbor's interface IP address can be pinged.

    • If the neighbor's interface IP address can be pinged, go to Step 5.
    • If the neighbor's interface IP address cannot be pinged, go to Step 4.

  4. Check whether the networking is correct.

    • If the networking is correct, go to Step 5.
    • If the networking is incorrect, correct it.

  5. Contact technical support personnel technical support personnel.
