A soft failure occurred on a forwarding chip.

This log is not recorded by default. Before recording this log, run the set system forwarding-engine event-log command in the system view to enable the log function.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
Slot Indicates the slot ID.
Chip Indicates the chip ID.
Module Indicates the module name.
Type Indicates the soft failure type.

Possible Causes

A soft failure occurred on a forwarding chip.


  1. Normally, a forwarding chip can automatically recover from a soft failure without affecting services. Check whether services are normal. If not, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
