Description

A smoothing event occurred between two components.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

[LocalComp]

Name of the local component.

[PeerComp]

Name of the peer component.

[ProducerName]

Name of the verification producer.

[SmoothLevel]

Smoothing level.

COMP_LEVEL

Component-level smoothing.

PROC_LEVEL

Process-level smoothing.

AREA_TABLE_LEVEL

Area- or table-level smoothing.

[ProcessId]

OSPF process ID.

[AreaTableId]

OSPF area ID or routing table ID.

[SmoothEvent]

Type of a smoothing event:

  • SMOOTH_REQUEST: indicates a smoothing request event.

  • SMOOTH_DELAY: indicates a smoothing delay event.

  • SMOOTH_BEGIN: indicates a smoothing start event.

  • SMOOTH_END: indicates a smoothing end event.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: Perform the master/slave switchover.

Cause 2: Run the reset ospf process command to reset an OSPF process.

Cause 3: Sequence numbers mismatched or data was incorrect.
