Description

The IS-IS LSP sequence number almost reached the maximum value.

Possible Causes

The sequence number of a locally generated LSP reached 0xFFFFFFFF.

Procedure

  1. Run the timer lsp-refresh command to change the value of the LSP refresh timer, and then run the display isis lsdb command to view the sequence number of LSPs generated by the local device.

    • If the sequence number of LSPs increases regularly, no action is required.
    • If the sequence number of LSPs increases quickly, go to Step 2.

  2. Check whether the system IDs of other devices are the same as that of the local device.

    • If another device's system ID is the same as that of the local device, go to Step 3.
    • If no other device's system ID is the same as that of the local device, go to Step 4.

  3. Enter the IS-IS view of the local device or other devices, and then run the network-entity command to change the system ID.
  4. Contact technical support personnel technical support personnel.
  5. End.
