IP addresses of DRs in an intra area conflict.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
ProcessId Indicates the ID of a process.
AreaId Indicates the ID of an area.
SelfIfnetIndex Indicates the index of an interface.
NbrIpAddr Indicates an IP address of neighbor.
RouterId Indicates the router ID of a device.
InterfaceIpAddress Indicates an IP address of interface.
InterfaceName Indicates the name of an interface.

Possible Causes

Two indirectly connected devices in an area were configured with the same IP address, and one of the devices functioned as the DR and advertised network LSAs, causing constant route flapping.


  1. Modify the IP addresses of the devices to ensure that each device in the area is configured with a unique IP address.
