Description

The status of the Smart Link group changed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
SmlkGrpID Indicates the ID of a Smart Link group.
SmlkGrpStatus Indicates the status of a Smart Link group.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The smart link group is enabled.

Cause 2: The smart link group is disabled.

Cause 3: The link of smart link group is switched.

Procedure

  • Cause 1: The smart link group is enabled.

    The log message is informational only, and no action is required.

  • Cause 2: The smart link group is disabled.

    The log message is informational only, and no action is required.

  • Cause 3: The link of smart link group is switched.

    • If a link switchover is performed manually, the log message is informational only, and no action is required.
    • If a link switchover is performed automatically, the primary link fails and perform the following steps:
      1. Run the display interface brief command to check the physical status of the master interface on the primary link.

      2. Check whether the cable of the primary link is correctly connected.
        • If the master interface is Up, and the cable is correctly connected, go to Step 3.

        • If the master interface goes Down, and the undo shutdown command does not set the interface to Up, go to Step 3.

      3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
