Impact on the System

If an LSP in an LDP virtual tunnel carries services, services may be interrupted.

Possible Causes

All the LDP ingress LSPs under a certain LDP virtual tunnel are deleted.


  • If the flapping LDP LSP does not transmit traffic, no action is required. If the flapping LDP LSP transmits traffic, run the display mpls last-info lsp-down verbose command and check tunnel information with the LspIndex field value is equal to VirtualTunnelIndex. Check the cause for LSP flapping based on the Down Reason field and contact technical support personnel.
