Possible Causes

  1. Run the display vrrp [ interface interface-type interface-number ] [virtual-router-id ] statistics command to check the incorrect VRRP packet received by the device.
  2. Determine the type of the fault occurring on the peer device based on the type of the incorrect VRRP packet received by the device.
  3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
