This alarm is unavailable on the AR100&AR120&AR150&160&200.

Name Meaning

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

EntityPhysicalIndex Indicates the index of a physical entity.
PhysicalName Indicates the name of a physical entity.

Impact on the System

Disconnection of the data channel may cause the following problems:
  • The SAE card does not work.
  • Services on the SAE card that needs to be processed by the backplane are interrupted.

Possible Causes

  • The interface on the SAE card connected to the backplane has no IP address configured or the configured IP address is incorrect.


  1. Run the display interface brief command to check the status of the interface connected to the backplane.
    1. If the protocol status on the interface is Down, the interface has no IP address configured.
    2. If the protocol status on the interface is Up, run the display arp command to check whether the system has learned the ARP entry matching the interface IP address. If not, the interface IP address is incorrect.
  2. Configure a correct IP address for the interface. After performing ping operations between the interface IP address and the system IP address, check whether the system learns the ARP entry matching the interface IP address.
  3. If communication between the SAE card and the backplane still fails, Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel..
