Currently, this alarm is only supported on xDSL interfaces.

Name Meaning

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

PhysicalIndex Indicates the interface index.
PhysicalName Indicates the interface name.
OldSpeed Indicates the original interface rate.
NewSpeed Indicates the changed interface rate.

Impact on the System


Possible Causes

Cause 1:

The interface alternated between Up and Down states.

Cause 2:

The rate of the remote interface changed.
